Alina K. Fong, PhD
Clinical Neuropsychologist
To honor her father, who was a Vietnam War veteran, Dr. Alina K. Fong chose to work at the Veteran’s Affairs Salt Lake City Healthcare System for her Ph.D. internship. At Veteran’s Affairs, Dr. Fong worked extensively with Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom veterans.
Dr. Fong earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Neuropsychology with an emphasis in Neuroimaging from Brigham Young University in April of 2008. During her academic career under the mentorship of Dr. Erin Bigler and Dr. Mark Allen, she received the national American Psychological Association Clinical Neuropsychology Division 40 Graduate Student Research Award in 2004 for her research on “Cortical Sources of the N400 and ‘The N400 Effect.’”
When she’s not working for the TBI community, Dr. Fong is busy as a volleyball mom and dance mom for her three girls. Dr. Fong says that her real job starts when she goes home to raise three beautiful, kind, and capable daughters.

Britton
Office Manager
Britton brings a background in management and a genuine passion for neuroscience to his role at Neural Effects. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he connects with a wide range of patients and families in a way that feels personal. He loves opportunities to help people, particularly at the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, and cognitive function, and believes that the right care at the right time can genuinely change lives.
He holds a BA in Psychology with a focus in Cognitive Neuroscience from Utah Valley University, where he studied under Dr. Barry Andelin and developed a deep interest in how the brain changes, adapts, and heals. That curiosity led him toward TMS and its growing role in treating conditions like depression, anxiety, Alzheimer’s, and dementia, and informs the way he approaches every patient interaction at Neural Effects, where treatments like Cognitive Stimulation Therapy reflect the same belief that the brain is worth investing in at every stage of life.
Prior to joining the clinic, Britton participated in UVU’s Sandbox accelerator program, where he sharpened his instincts for building, problem-solving, and creating something meaningful from the ground up. Outside of work, Britton enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, playing and watching basketball, traveling, and trying great food wherever he goes.

Anna
Director
Since Neural Effects’ founding, Anna has played a central role in shaping the company’s programs, operations, services, and patient experience. As Director, she helps translate Neural Effects’ mission into sustainable systems of care, ensuring that clinical innovation, operational excellence, and compassionate support remain closely aligned.
Anna’s vision for Neural Effects was shaped by firsthand experience with the challenges many patients and families face: long waits for answers, limited guidance after diagnosis, and dementia care that too often loses momentum when support is needed most. These experiences fueled her commitment to building a better model, one focused on faster answers to the dementia question, clearer next steps, and meaningful support for the journey that follows.
Anna spearheaded the introduction of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) to Utah and helped integrate it into our broader person-centered approach to care. Her work has centered on developing services that support cognitive health while also recognizing the emotional, practical, and relational needs of patients and their families. She is passionate about leading an organization where strong relationships, individualized support, and trust are at the center of every interaction.
As a lifelong learner, problem-solver, and advocate, Anna is continually looking for ways to strengthen the organization, support the team, and improve care. Outside of work, Anna spends much of her time tending an ever-expanding rose garden and relaxing outdoors with her husband and their dogs.
